Basilica di Massenzio June 20th to July 13th .
This greatly respected event, now in it’s 16th year, brought devotees from all over the world to the 4th century Basillica di Massenzio this summer. This years theme of the festival is The Right/The Reverse, focussing on the malleability of words. Necessary words, superfluous words. Real words, deceitful words.
Famous writers are invited to bring their own unpublished text on the theme and experience the thrill of reading it to an audience in the evocative atmosphere of the Forum of Rome.
For 8 dates we filmed the performances using 3 camera operators and 1 director.
