Project Description

Thermo Fisher, the U.S. biotechnology product development giant, recently held an international commercial meeting at the Marriot Rome Park hotel.
The 3 day event was attended by 580 delegates, utilising a large plenary meeting room, the Michelangelo Suite, and several smaller breakout rooms.
Setup alone was a two-day job, as our crew first built the set with a 29mtr long x 5.4mtrs high main stage where over the printed graphics, we have recreated four screens projected with four Barco projectors. For the lights and audio, then installed 50 moving head Clay Paky lights and a 3 cluster D&B Audiotechnik sound system.

On the final evening, a magnificent gala dinner took place for all the delegates.
The Eventi-x motion design team had to transform the Michelangelo Suite from a business meeting room into a Roman imaginary experience. We constructed two sidewalls of 39mtrs in length and 5.4mtrs high.  By using 8 projectors simultaneously to create a spectacular 360° video projection mapping, we kept to the theme of the meeting which was “Italian Excellence”, paying particular attention to the many beautiful monuments in Rome. All the videos and the projections were produced by our technical wizards and displayed, using two Watchout servers in tandem with the amazing Aquilon RS4 console,  ensuring the attendees were left with a tremendous lasting impression of this superb conference.
